Bio of William D. Bott, CFA

Mr. Bott, a senior member of the commercial property and business valuation team at RCDH, rejoined the company in mid-2007 after several years working with two highly-respected real estate advisory firms. He has appraised a broad range of property types throughout the mid-Atlantic region, including: office buildings, retail centers, multi-family residential properties, industrial facilities, R&D/laboratory assets, commercial land, ground leases, and high-profile mixed-use development projects.

Prior to rejoining RCDH, he was vice president of east coast acquisitions and development transactions with PNC Realty Investors, Inc. Also, as a portfolio manager for a $250 million distressed real estate portfolio, he proactively recapitalized and repositioned the assets, resulting in dramatic improvements to the portfolio’s performance during his tenure. Prior to joining PNC Realty Investors, Mr. Bott worked in the Capital Transactions and Asset Management Group at Lend Lease, an institutional real estate advisor. He began his career in real estate with RCDH in 1996.

Aside from his substantial valuation experience, Mr. Bott’s transactional experience is broad, being involved in the placement of over $325 million into real estate through varied investment structures that included: leveraged equity, mezzanine debt, participating debt, and joint venture equity.

Mr. Bott received a BS from the Pennsylvania State University and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2005.
